Performs the daytime warehouse functions: receives inbound product from vendors, tags and records product, restocks product into the pick and reserve slots and replenishes pick slots by letting down product from the reserve slots. This makes sure that the division maintains proper inventory levels and that the inventory is in place for fast and accurate selection during the night shift. Such selection is key for operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Check inbound product identification against invoices and receiving paperwork to insure correct pack/size, quantity, product quality and temperature, pallet ti/hi, etc. Check temperature of all inbound frozen and refrigerated products to ensure proper temperatures and compliance to U.S. Foodservices food safety and RRE requirements.
