Job Summary: Independent School District #255 Pine Island is seeking a Choir Pianist who will work closely with the Choir director during classes, rehearsals and performances. Duties include but are not limited to:

• accompanying classroom rehearsals daily, including warm-ups and repertoire
  
  • rehearsals include reading and playing parts from open score as well as piano accompaniment.
  • sight reading skills required
• accompanying solo and ensemble rehearsals and performances
  
  • solo and ensemble rehearsals include coaching notes by playing parts with students in individual and small group settings
• playing at clinics and concerts both during the day and in the evening, both in Pine Island as well as out of town
• familiarity with/willingness to play another instrument is a plus

This position will have the potential to become full time if interested in also serving the district as a paraprofessional or other role. You will be joining a professional staff in a growing district of over 1,500 students. We are located ten minutes north of Rochester.
