Job Description:
We are looking for a mid level Structural Design Engineer with previous experience in commercial and residential design. Will be responsible for the development of 3D models utilizing REVIT and RISA software.
Responsibilities:
* REVIT modeling for the design and detailing structural systems for residential, institutional and commercial buildings of various sizes and material types.
* Development of 3-D structural analysis models using RISA structural engineering software.
* Communication with clients to understand and coordinate project requirements
* Performance of site visits and prepare field reports
* Candidate will work with both single family residential and commercial/institutional design teams.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
* Bachelor"s Degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering emphasis from an ABET accredited school (Master"s degree preferred).
* EIT preferred.
* Working knowledge of Revit is required.
* 1-3 years of relevant prior commercial/residential design experience.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Prior timber/wood experience preferred but not required.
