Bookkeeper
A 50-year-old beverage company with a strong reputation for its unique drinks is looking for Office assistant to help with a variety of tasks. In this role, you will also help with data entry, and manage the accounts payable and receivable. This is a medium-sized, family-owned company, and you will wear many hats in this function.
Location: Sylmar, CA
Salary: $25.00 -$30.00/hr (DOE)
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8.30am - 5.00pm
This is a temp-to-hire assignment

Responsibilities:
- Create invoices
- Write up service calls
- Update completed service calls
- Order office supplies
- Log inventory of product
- Accounts payable
- Accounts receivable
- Balancing daily sales
- Running deposits
- Enter inventory (product) and balance inventory
- Enter equipment by serial numbers to the right customers
- Data input
- This candidate must be open answer incoming phone calls. Be the first point of contact for customers and vendors.
Requirements: - Experience using a computer is a must
- Experience using MS Word and Excel
- Eye for detail is a must
- Good multi-tasker
- Bookkeeping experience with accounts payable and receivable is a must
- Experience with freight coordination, including the paperwork creating work orders is a plus
- Billing and statements
- Self-motivated (not waiting for orders)
- Team player
- Eager to learn and take on more responsibility
