Description
River Crest Country Club is seeking to add a part-time, weekend Fitness Attendant for our top-notch, award-winning Fitness Facility.
Located five miles from downtown Fort Worth, River Crest is Fort Worth's oldest and most storied country club.
The pay range for this position is $11 - $14 per hour based on verifiable experience.
JOB SUMMARY
The Fitness Attendant at River Crest is responsible for attending to the fitness needs of Members and guests. Reports to Assistant Director and Director of Fitness.
QUALIFICATIONS & WORK REQUIREMENTS
- Certification in CPR and first aid is required
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds is required
- Attention to detail and mental concentration are necessary for accurately performing tasks and tolerating frequent interruptions
- Must present a neat and clean personal appearance
- Must have timely, reliable attendance
- Must have a professional, courteous & respectful attitude toward members, guests, vendors, co-workers and supervisors
- High school education or equivalent is required
RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES / FUNCTIONS / TASKS- Cleans and organizes equipment
- Informs Director of Fitness of needed repairs for equipment
- Monitors Member sign-in
- Performs administrative duties such as answering phones, making photocopies, etc.
- Greets Members and guests; provides towels and water
- Maintains stock of retail merchandise and supplies
- Assists Members in the safe operation of equipment
- Renders first aid and/or CPR as needed
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT- Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping and pulling
