Job Overview
Quality Assurance Technician who will be involved in ensuring the quality and reliability of our safety processes, while working side by side with the Quality Assurance Manager for minimal support in the day-to-day operations at the Chesapeake facility.
Work Model: Onsite/Office-Based
Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
- Ensures inspections are scheduled and preformed as required and reviews all data to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Designs inspection and testing mechanisms and performs statistical analysis.
- Confers with management to detertmine quality and reliability standards and recommends modifications of esiting standards.
- Conducts internal audits/surveillances to ensure adherence to company procedures/policy in areas of quality control, safety and training.
- Conduct and chair periodic quality management reviews.
Job RequirementsMandatory:- Active SECRET Security Clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Willing to comply with:
- ISO 9001:2015 clauses and subclauses
- NAVSEA Standard Items - current fiscal year
- AIT Maintenance Manual 9090-310H APP 4
- Quality Systems, In process work instructions and forms.
- Must be willing to obtain Nondestructive Testing - visual inspections formal training (certification not required, we will certify).
- Some knowledge in welding, Safety, specifically OSHA regulations / record keeping and accident reporting.
- Microsoft excel, word, PPT and Project Management.
