Service Technician


Job Details

-Assemble drilling rigs, and sub-assemblies of rigs encompassing tasks that includes welding,
assembling hydraulic components, electrical components, and basic mechanical fastening.
-Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools.
-Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles.
-Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
-Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper
performance and compliance with manufacturers" specifications.
-Operate and inspect machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defects.
-Examine parts for damage or excessive wear, using micrometers and gauges.
-Schedule maintenance for industrial machines and equipment, and keep equipment service
records.

Job Requirements

-Candidate having automotive or heavy equipment machinery experience is preferred.
-Experience with MIG welding, hydraulics and electrical wire harnessing is a plus.
-Participate in an individual drill build team in addition to participating in the shop team
-Technicians will provide their own standard hand and power tools. Specialty tools will be
provided by the company.
-Self-starter that can produce consistent results in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
-At all times, maintaining a positive 'Customer First' attitude and contributing to the team.
