True Mind + Body, PLLC is seeking a Licensed Therapist who specializes in working with children, adolescents, and young adults AND is passionate about conducting psychotherapy in an active setting. Candidates must have experience working with children/adolescents and love to be active in a therapeutic environment.
Role Description
This role offers a unique hybrid of traditional talk therapy and “InMotion Therapy" to children, adolescents, and their families. InMotion Therapy (IMT) is a cutting-edge program that takes place in our one-of-a-kind private sports court offices. During IMT, kids are engaged in active play designed to increase self awareness, build social-emotional skills, and generally offer a fun and safe environment for age-appropriate relational therapy. All team members in the inMotion Therapy department receive extensive training in IMT. Mental Performance Coaching opportunities available.
Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, or related field
- Understanding of child and adolescent development
- Understanding of play therapy theory and practice
- Psychology and Counseling skills
- Experience in mental health assessments and counseling
- Ability to collaborate with other medical professionals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
