We are an ambitious organisation, and we are looking for equally ambitious and innovative people to join our dynamic Purchasing team. Nissan is positioned to become the most desirable Asian brand in Europe, and we need your help to get there.
You will have several projects on the go and be involved in data and cost analysis for future activities, supplier visits and continual liaison with internal departments.
**Job Description**
Responsibilities could include:
* Sourcing for all new models across Nissan Europe
* Daily communication with suppliers/internal and external departments
* Cost management of parts with both suppliers and internal departments
* Project management activities for new European projects
* Internal Reporting of key cost information on a monthly basis
* Supplier visits
**Additional Job Description**
* 2.1 in any degree discipline
* Strong analytical skills and a data-driven thinker
* A creative, forward thinker with excellent communication and team working skills
* Strong time management and planning skills with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced organisation
* Excellent working knowledge of MS Office applications
* A positive attitude towards travel within the UK & Abroad
* You must have permission to live and work in the UK without restriction at the time of hire
* Language Skills: Fluent English speaker, other languages would be an advantage
* Full clean driving license
* A good sense of humour!
