Job Details

Job Duties:

  • Provide comprehensive pain management services, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with spine and musculoskeletal disorders.
  • Perform interventional procedures such as epidural steroid injections, facet joint injections, nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablation, and spinal cord stimulation.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, collaborating with other healthcare providers.
  • Supervise and work closely with Physician Assistants and other support staff in clinical and surgical settings.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulations.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences.
  • Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives within the practice.


Certifications and Qualifications:

  • Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Board Certification: Board certified or board eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) with subspecialty certification in Pain Medicine.
  • Licensure: Current, unrestricted medical license in the state of New Jersey.
  • Experience: Preferred 1-2 years of experience in orthopedics or related field/Not required.
  • Other Requirements: ACLS/BLS certification, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
