Job Details
Job Duties:
- Provide comprehensive pain management services, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with spine and musculoskeletal disorders.
- Perform interventional procedures such as epidural steroid injections, facet joint injections, nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablation, and spinal cord stimulation.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, collaborating with other healthcare providers.
- Supervise and work closely with Physician Assistants and other support staff in clinical and surgical settings.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulations.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences.
- Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives within the practice.
Certifications and Qualifications:
- Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board Certification: Board certified or board eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) with subspecialty certification in Pain Medicine.
- Licensure: Current, unrestricted medical license in the state of New Jersey.
- Experience: Preferred 1-2 years of experience in orthopedics or related field/Not required.
- Other Requirements: ACLS/BLS certification, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
