Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Austin, TX. As a Hospice Nurse at New Century Hospice, you will be responsible for providing specialized nursing care to terminally ill patients in a hospice setting. Your duties will include assessing patients' conditions, developing care plans, administering medication, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, providing emotional support to patients and their families, and ensuring the highest quality of care throughout the end-of-life process.

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience in hospice or palliative care is preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide compassionate care to patients and their families
• Knowledge of hospice regulations and standards of care
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of patients
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
