Administrative/Office Assistant


Job Details

Our client is seeking to add an Administrative Assistant to their Louisville office. This person will be responsible for managing the receipt and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail and packages to ensure efficient operations within the company. This position requires a high level of accuracy, reliability, and the ability to manage time effectively.

  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages to company departments and staff.
  • Prepare, meter, and send outgoing mail and packages, ensuring compliance with postal and courier regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing packages.
  • Operate and maintain mailroom equipment including postage meters, scales, and scanning devices.
  • Coordinate inter-office mail distribution.
  • Ensure the mail room is organized and maintained for efficient operation.
  • Respond to inquiries and provide information on mailing costs, delivery timelines, and mailroom procedures.
  • Assist with inventory management of mailing supplies such as envelopes, boxes, stamps, and forms.
  • Handle confidential documents and packages with discretion.


Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to work Monday - Thursday, 9 AM - 4 PM
  • Previous experience in a mail room or administrative role preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills, including data entry and email communication.


Salary/Benefits:
  • $20.00 per hour
  • Fridays off
  • Eligible for Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits after 30 days
  • Paid weekly
