**Description**

Majestic Glove, a division of Bunzl Distribution, is currently seeking an Operations Manager for our warehouse/production floor in Everett, WA. The Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of the distribution, logistics and printing and production within the facility. This position will ensure the smooth operation of various processes including planning, implementing, and controlling the effective and efficient flow of goods and services from the point of origin to the point of consumption.

***Responsibilities:***

* Lead and manage department processes to ensure that programs are aligned with company business goals and objectives

* Identify the best use of organizational resources by defining, planning and working with the General Manager to develop strategic and long-range goals

* Establish operational standards for cost control, safety and complete on-time delivery

* Build a cohesive team of employees

* Analyze and propose methods of sustained productivity increases

* Maintain a clean, orderly and organized warehouse and production department

* Ensure safe working conditions, including thoroughly training employees on proper safety

* Counsel and manage employees on attendance, performance and/or misconduct

* Manage the SAP system for the purpose of measuring the pick accuracy and employee performance (cycle count, bin walk, etc.)

* Manage the maintenance and repairs of all warehouse and production-related equipment, ensuring the equipment is producing goods at an acceptable standard

* Act as an instrumental player and liaison between all departments and facilities

***Requirements:***

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred

* Minimum 10+ years of demonstrated experience in Operations required

* Supervisory experience required

* Strong knowledge of logistics and operational processes required

* Strong procurement skills and experience with vendors a plus

* Must possess strong communications, analytical and effective decision making skills, and a strong commitment to company values

* Strong knowledge of SAP system required

* Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word and Excel required

* Experience in forklift certification and inspection, hazmat certification, operating various warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, stock pickers, etc.)

* High comfort level working in a diverse, warehouse and production environment

* Open to direction, collaborative work style and commitment to getting the job done
