**Position Overview**

This position is responsible for providing leadership, direction, and functional expertise to the Springfield 500+ employees on implementing a world class Continuous Improvement Program. This position will be responsible for development, deployment, and coaching of leaders on various TPM systems across the Plant, DC and Americas region. This position will be responsible for leading and developing the Springfield CI Department including Performance Manager, Training & Development Manager and team, and Process Engineering team. This position will lead the strategic improvement planning for the site including long term strategies for capacity and cost.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Active on Plant Leadership Team on Functional, Cost, and Stakeholder projects.

* Create and execute Springfield Journey to Excellence (JTE, McCormick term for Continuous Improvement) strategic Masterplan.

+ Lead and support Springfield and other Americas site assessments, audits and coaching

+ Deliver >$4MM in annual continuous improvement savings

+ Connect Springfield leaders and 500+ organization to JTE methodology and progress.

+ Ensure the JTE digitization is deployed and executed at Springfield per the Americas JTE master plan.

+ Lead Springfield JTE steering team

* As a system owner, develop and deploy standards and training materials for various TPM Systems (DDS, Loss Analysis, etc) across the Springfield site and Americas region

+ Provide coaching (physically and virtually) to Springfield and Americas TPM/CI Managers

+ Participate, as senior leader, on Americas JTE Leader Team, providing general input on TPM implementation and leading standards development and implementation for systems owned

+ Support audits and assessments (TPM, HPO, etc) across Springfield Plant and DC and Americas region

* Coaching for Springfield Training Manager

+ Lead development and continuous improvement of Tech Progression System

+ As sponsor for tech progression system, ensure sufficiency of Springfield tech progression plans to deliver tech qualification

* Responsible for Springfield Performance KPIs (Productivity/Cost and Process Reliability)

+ Lead maturation of Reliability and Productivity strategic masterplans

+ Coach/Develop Performance Manager to deliver data analytics and insight

+ Coordinate and provide coaching at routine Performance reviews

* Lead Springfield JTE Team

+ Coach and develop 5-6 entry level Process Engineers, Performance Manager and Training & Development Team

+ Manage $500k team budget

**Required Qualifications**

* BS in Manufacturing/Engineering

* Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience and progressing leadership roles within Supply Chain and Manufacturing.

* Demonstrated ability to drive results using analytical decision making, building strong relationships, and direction setting.

* Ability to collaborate across different groups. Ability to connect functional and business objectives to Continuous Improvement.

* Able to merge business questions/needs with available data to provide data-driven insights Strong understanding of business drivers and levers (capacity & cost)

* Provides coaching on leading a culture change and to build people capability to eliminate losses.

* Strong communication and diplomacy skills, from plant technicians through plant/regional leaders

* Ability to lead and coach/develop others in setting direction, strategy and executing problem-solving.

* Communication to Plant and Regional leaders on JTE and JTE systems progress. Single point of contact for JTE at Springfield and for select Americas TPM systems

* Advanced knowledge of and experience using Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodologies.

* Past experience of working in a High Performance Organization

* Ability to work with consultants and with different functions
