The base hourly rate for this position is $24.43

Reads and works from simple prints, sketches, and verbal instructions in making assemblies and installations.

Performs assigned jobs with a limited amount of supervision.

Operates various machine shop equipment, such as drill presses, grinders, etc. Makes measurements and calculations necessary for job.

Maintains, adjusts, lubricates, and makes minor repairs to processing, mobile and auxiliary equipment.

Maintain and make routine repairs to plant buildings, facilities, utilities, and area ways which involve plumbing, carpentry, masonry, pipe fitting, etc.

Does emergency welding and gas cutting as needed.

Dismantles, cleans, repairs, or replaces parts, and reassembles equipment as directed.

Makes inspection tours to ensure compliance with fire and safety programs. Notifies supervisor of any difficulty interfering with performance of job.

Makes minor repairs and installations to electrical systems not on main distribution line.

Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly.

Uses safe working practices and always reports hazardous conditions.

Reports time and production as directed.

Maintains parts inventory log, makes sure it is updated each time a part is removed from the supply.
