Job Details
As an Appliance Repair Technician, you ll visit our clients homes to repair appliances such as washers, dryers, ovens, stoves, dishwashers, microwaves and refrigerators. You ll provide a seamless customer experience by giving advice on products and services. This will include performing complex work, evaluating the severity of device issues and de-escalating difficult client interactions as needed.What you ll doFulfill appointments, both individually and as the leader of a two-person crewDiagnose issues and make necessary repairsExplain to clients how to use their appliances properlyManage an accurate record of all parts used to repair, replace or maintain appliancesProvide feedback and training opportunities to your teamBasic qualificationsMust be at least 21 years oldCurrent, valid driver s licenseHave and maintain a driving record which meets Best Buy safety standards (e.g., minimal number of violations/accidents, etc.)Acquire and maintain any state or local licensing, as required, within 90 days of hireAble to lift 75 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation and up to 150 pounds with help1 year of experience as an appliance repair technician or similar rolePreferred qualificationsCustomer service experience, including resolution of complex issuesWhat s in it for youWe re committed to helping our people thrive at work and at home.
