Viridian Staffing's (www.viridianstaffing.com) Client is looking for Temporary Cultivation Techs to help with on-site cultivation for one or more medical cannabis gardens during a very busy season for a cannabis company located 20 minutes SE of the Providence, Rhode Island, area in Massachusetts. Hours are 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday - Friday. For workers who do a great job, there is the potential for this to turn into a permanent opportunity.

As a Cultivation Tech, you will get the opportunity to monitor and maintain plant production & health. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to maintaining quality control measures; maintaining organization, cleanliness and efficiency of production area; carrying out day-to-day plant care; and monitoring and maintaining plant production and quality control measures.
You bring with you the ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment. You are known for your effective time-management skills, ability to multi-task, and are always able to arrive on time and willing to give 100%. This position is in a greenhouse environment, so you will need to be comfortable performing the requirements of this position in up to 80 degrees Fahrenheit. You also have the ability to sit, stand, kneel, and lift plants and equipment up to 50 pounds for extended periods of time.
REQUIREMENTS
- Massachusetts Commonwealth Law requires anyone working for a licensed cannabis company to be 21 years of age or older
- Must be eligible to work for a licensed cannabis company in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
