Mazda of Vacaville is looking for a Automotive Mechanic. This person will be accountable for diagnostics, repairing vehicles and their ongoing maintenance for our loyal customers.

As a Automotive Technician, you will perform repairs and maintenance work in accordance with factory and dealership specifications and time standards for an excellent customer experience.
The ideal candidate will have previous automotive mechanical experience, be a reliable employee, exhibit teamwork and add value to our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues with vehicles using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Repair and replace faulty parts and components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any additional problems or potential issues.
- Keep accurate records of all work performed, including parts used, labor hours, and service invoices.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring that tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest automotive technology and repair techniques through ongoing training and professional development.
Requirements:
Competitive pay based on experience
High School Diploma or GED
An ASE certification from a trade or technical school in automotive or engineering is desirable for this position.
3+ years of service technician experience
Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment a must
Willingness to participate in in-house training
Ability to operate all auto repair tools
Excellent listening and communication skills - Teamwork oriented
