Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Location: Melbourne, FL (Onsite position, not remote)
Pay: $22.00/hr
Shift: Sunday to Thursday from 11:00pm to 7:00am (Friday and Saturday Off)
* Please Note, this position will involve 3 to 6-months of training that may take place at a different shift during traditional business hours.*
Overview
This role will interface with television engineers, master station control personnel, technicians, plant operations engineers, and head end technicians as well as working with our customer's help desk operators and coordinating service to locations around the United States.
We are responsible for maintaining a database including information from customers, our own field staff and ensuring customer satisfaction. We seek people who can come across in a friendly and professional manner and can remain courteous when faced with a difficult or angry customer.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Maintain good relations with the customers, technicians and staff.
* Communicate and build rapport with technicians; convey trust and assurance.
* Respond to customer / technician requests and questions.
* Obtain an understanding of which decisions can be made alone and what requires consultation with others; act accordingly.
* Analyze and rectify customer / technician concerns using established procedures.
* Receive and enter work orders in a timely manner.
* Select the most qualified technician near the site.
* Monitor and record technician progress on work orders.
* Prepare work orders with complete job requirements listed in a clear and concise manner.
* Fax work orders to selected technician.
* Coordinate an ETA and communicate it to the customer, end user and technician.
* Order, ship and track equipment needed to complete work orders.
* Accomplish tasks by working with others and be a good team player
* Recognize how decisions may impact others
* Seek input from others when necessary.
* Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
