Pay Range: 85-115k, depending on experience
Summary: Schedules production & coordinates with project managers to make certain that all materials are ready for production on assigned jobs. This role will be supporting our biggest client, who is rapidly increasing their production with VPE.
Essential Functions:
Identifies and resolves conflicts with respect to material and capacity availability and order-promising integrity
Updates the department schedules, JobBoss schedules daily
Schedules raw material/purchase components through product release
Plans, schedules, and releases production items per the traveler
Quotes deliveries dates for sales requests within the defined lead time
Develops and maintains communication channels between ales, Production Material Handling and Quality Department to maintain the production flow rates
Monitors and maintains inventory levels when necessary
Works with both sales and operations to provide timely feedback regarding all requested schedule changes
Establishes a working line of communication with all company functions
Reviews, identifies, and resolves material shortages with the appropriate supplier(s)
Participates with management to drive changes in forecasting
Involved in Continuous Improvement projects
Other Functions
- Coordinates Engineering changes in the production schedules.
- Supply to Business Development and customer updated information when needed.
- Actively works with production line and external suppliers to resolve material issues (shortages, emergency customer demands, etc.)

Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Education and/or Experience: AA degree from two-year college or university with a major in Business or related field and two to five years related experience as Scheduler.
Language Skills: Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a knowledge of ERP software, ideally JobBoss ERP, and be skilled in MS Excel and Word.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Current Driver s License
Desired Requirements:
At least five years experience working in Manufacturing
At least eight years experience in scheduling
Understanding manufacturing in a job shop and additive manufacturing environment
Must be US Citizen or equivalent
Experience with JobBoss is a big plus
