Client Overview

Our client is a very well-known manufacturing company which is looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their team!

Salary/Hourly Rate

$25 $28/hr DOE

Position Overview

The Payroll Specialist will perform a wide variety of corporate payroll record keeping and processing activities, including computing wage and overtime payments, calculating and recording payroll deductions, controlling earnings and deduction totals, and standard reports. The Payroll Specialist will be the liaison between the accounting and human resources departments.

Responsibilities Of The Payroll Specialist

  • High volume of bi-weekly payroll
  • Verify employee s hourly rate
  • Multi-State Payroll Policies
  • Exception and variance reporting
  • Ad hoc projects as needed
  • Process garnishments
  • Complete quarterly payroll tax reconciliations
  • Complete year-end payroll processes including year-end adjustments, W-2s, etc.

Qualifications For The Payroll Specialist

  • 2 to 7 years of experience
  • PeopleSoft Required

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree is required
