Position Overview
The Graphic Designer will lead the development, design, and execution of all signage for our assets. They will collaborate closely with our executive and marketing team to shape and maintain the Prime Group Holdings brand identity across our diverse portfolio.
Essential Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and visually represent Prime Group Holdings' brands to engage, inform, and captivate our stakeholders
- Establish a compelling visual identity for the PGH brand portfolio by creating brand and style guidelines for branded signs
- Take ownership of 2D and 3D design projects, encompassing logos, building signage, posters, and infographics
- Manage incoming sign requests from various assets
- Establish and coordinate external vendor schedules including job-site surveys, manufacturing, transportation and final installation of products at customer location to ensure on-time delivery
- Partner with local municipalities to interpret municipal code and procure permits to ensure signage is following local regulations
- Collaborate with the Marketing Department on signage projects, offering strategic insights and editing support as needed
- Negotiate strategic pricing initiatives with external vendors and contractors to ensure profitability targets
- Maintain a well-organized library of marketing assets and resources, including photos, videos, and electronic media.
- Conduct ongoing research on industry and competitor design trends, analyzing findings to inform and enhance design and branding decisions for signage
- Utilize effective communication to develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders
Qualifications
- 4-8 years of experience in graphic design or multimedia production, with applicable internship experience considered
- A bachelor's degree (BA/BFA) in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Media Arts, or a related design-focused program.
- Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the capability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Bridge. Experience with other design and editing platforms is a plus
- Strong written communication skills
- Environmental design experience is also a valuable asset
