Salary Range : $75,000 - $90,000

We are seeking dedicated Data Center Technicians to monitor and manage our physical data center environment. This role involves developing a broad range of technology skills and applying critical thinking in a mission-critical setting. The position is based in Elmhurst, Illinois.

Responsibilities

As a Data Center Technician, you will:

  • Maintain Infrastructure: Handle racking hardware, cabling, and asset lifecycle management.
  • Monitor Systems: Oversee the health of various software systems, from servers to mainframes.
  • Troubleshoot Issues: Address and resolve problems, or escalate them to support teams as needed.
  • Security Support: Administer firewalls, apply patches, and support other security-related needs.
  • Deploy Software: Manage software changes across different environments.
  • Disaster Recovery: Oversee tape storage and other disaster recovery responsibilities.
  • IT Help Desk Services: Provide technical support to end users.
  • Process Automation: Develop processes to automate routine tasks using various tools.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with new technologies, systems, and processes.
Work Hours: This in-person position requires working from 7 PM to 6:am Wednesday through Saturday

Compensation and Benefits
  • Starting Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 (based on skills and experience)

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience: At least two years of work experience in a technology-related field
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in hardware management, software system monitoring, troubleshooting, security administration, and process automation
