Position Scope

As a member of the Information Systems management team, the Manager, Infinium Systems will have technical and managerial responsibility for the systems applications group which provides system support to the financial application systems primarily utilizing our Infinium software suite. In this role, there will be extensive involvement with the companys corporate administration business systems. This is a hands-on management position encompassing approximately eighty percent active technical participation and twenty percent supervisory/management responsibilities. Theinformation systems support function for this system is centralized at the corporate office located in Yardley, PA.

The support of this highly sophisticated, structured and centralized core application system will be a challenging opportunity.

Reporting Relationships

The Manager, Infinium Systems will report to the Senior Manager, Administrative Systems who in turn reports to the Vice President of Information Services. The incumbent will initially lead and manage a staff of two to three senior programmer analysts. This position is located at Crowns corporate office inYardley, PA. The travel requirements associated with this position are negligible.

Functional Responsibilities

Provide hands-on system technical support to Administrative Systems.

Assume responsibility for the management of assigned personnel in the system application groupincluding but not limited to salary administration, performance issues, training, hiring, termination, coaching and counseling.

Provide quality, effective and consistent computing solutions to the corporate financial administration group as required. Included are training issues, phone requests and problem resolution.

Assume the role of project manager in the implementation of enhancements to the Administrative Systems environment.


Candidate Qualifications

A minimum of 10 years experience in systems support function in an administrative systems environment with a focus on systems support. A keen understanding of financial applications is required.

In depth knowledge and experience with IBMi (formerly known as AS400), RPG400 and ILE is a must.

Software tools required for change control and impact analysis: SoftLandings Turnoverand Pathfinders Hawkeye.

Project management experience is required.

Experienced in systems development, design, implementation and post-implementation processes.

Strong database knowledge and background.

Excellent oral and written communication skills plus the ability to successfully interact at all levels of management.

Bachelor degree in a technical discipline is desired but not required.
