Do you have a passion for data and a knack for building efficient systems? Are you an expert in Azure tools and BI development? If so, we want you on our client's team!

We're seeking a talented Data Architect to lead the charge in enhancing and securing our client's data warehouse ecosystem. You'll work closely with BI Developers to design exceptional reporting frameworks, leveraging your expertise in Azure and data extraction. While this role offers remote work flexibility, occasional visits and participation at the Birmingham, Alabama headquarters are essential.

Here's what you'll be doing:

  • Partner on data warehouse project development from conception to execution.
  • Guide the team on utilizing Azure tools effectively for business intelligence.
  • Oversee the performance of the Data Insights data warehouse and implement optimizations.
  • Extract data efficiently from AX & D365 ERP and various sources.
  • Develop best-in-class Power BI and Power Automate solutions.
  • Spearhead the migration to Azure Data Lake for Data Insights.
  • Collaborate with BI Developers to establish standardized processes for Data Insights.
  • Work with different divisions to optimize the performance of their customized reports.

To be successful, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in business process definition, software integration, or reporting.
  • 5+ years of experience in business intelligence and data warehousing, with proven leadership qualities.
  • Proficiency in various computer tools, online reporting software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in data projects and expertise in SQL, Azure, Power BI, or similar reporting frameworks.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure and its BI capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of data ETL processes and data warehouse performance optimization.
  • Stellar analytical skills to identify problems, gather data, and draw sound conclusions.
  • The ability to interpret technical instructions and manage complex variables.
  • A collaborative spirit and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a team-oriented mindset.
