Job Details
Our client is a NJ based developer with deep roots in the commercial/industrial sector. They have a very strong pipeline and are looking for someone who can independently estimate new construction and interior projects ranging from 10,000 to 100,000 sqft inclusive of multiple trades.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing project and bid strategies. Ultimately, your work will help develop new business opportunities and continue expanding their footprint.
Responsibilities
- Attend bid meetings and develop and execute bid strategy
- Prepare thorough and timely cost analysis
- Create pricing and complete takeoffs based on basic drawings
- Analyze project proposals to prepare budget and cost estimate
- Gather, update, and review historical cost data
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Construction Management or related field of study
- 3-5+ years Estimating Commercial construction projects upwards of $20M
- Experience creating takeoffs without having to go to subs or vendors for pricing
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
