Job Title: Part-Time Line Cook
Job Summary:
Pioneer Crossing Casino Yerington is seeking a high-energy and fast-paced Line Cook to join our kitchen staff. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for producing the highest quality food with precision and accuracy while continually observing and implementing the proper quality-assurance and food-safety procedures.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role
- Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a team environment or independently
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Serve Safe Certification preferred
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure that all food is cooked and served at the correct temperature
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager
Language Ability:
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English language - both written and oral
Math Ability:
- Basic mathematical skills in order to calculate portion sizes, measurements, and recipes
Certificates and Licenses:
-Serve Safe Certification preferred but not necessary.
Salary Description
$13.00 - $16.50 based on experience
