Prepare delicious, fresh, creative dishes at Cordwood, near Zion National Park, and enjoy all that Southern Utah has to offer. This position is responsible for carrying out the creation of recipes designed by our Farm Chef, as well as other responsibilities associated with a Sous Chef. We have immediate openings for available for both seasonal and non-seasonal availablity. Our made-from-scratch, farm-to-fork establishment has an emphasis on our own garden, including fresh eggs, as well as local, organic suppliers. Due to our dynamic property and rural location, the Sous Chef may be asked to help with other back-of-house resonsiblities. This means that flexibility is an important characteristic of applicants. The menu changes seasonally and according to the farm's produce, so applicant's must be able to learn new recipes and enjoy the prospect of a rotating menu. There are also occasional small group and catering requirements at Cordwood. Our establishment hosts couples, families, and large groups from around the world who are looking for memorable fine dining. The ranch expects its staff to maintain high standards in actions, grooming and congeniality. We maintain an illegal drug and alcohol abuse free environment. Some on-site housing may be available, but providing your own RV to live in would be a welcomed option. Please plan to provide your own means of transportation, since we are in a rural area.
