Come join the Marvin team! Are you looking for a position where you can use your people skills to interact with visitors and employees? Do you like variety? Marvin is hiring for a full-time Receptionist/HR Clerk to work on-site at our Baker City, Oregon location. The regular schedule for this position will be Monday through Friday 7:30am4:00pm with a half hour lunch (or 8:00am4:30pm).
Highlights of your role:
The Receptionist / HR Clerk who will wear many hats, including:
- Providing excellent customer service to our visitors and employees by greeting visitors, taking messages, and routing calls.
- Completing routine administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, scanning, making copies, and creating graphs and reports.
- Working with employee personnel files while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
- Maintaining our communication outlets, including posting to our digital media monitors throughout the plant, preparing weekly slides for monitors, and posting content to social media outlets.
- Handling cash accounts, including balancing and reporting.
- Light housekeeping duties, such as tidying up our lunchrooms, keeping office supplies stocked, and handling our mail.
Salary Range:
$19.40/Hr - $22.00/Hr
You're a good fit if you have (or if you can):
- A High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- One to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency with a computer and 10-key.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel spreadsheets; and experience creating graphs/charts.
- Excellent customer service and conflict management skills.
