Job Details
Perform set-ups, tool changes, offsets, and run production on various CNC and non-CNC machines. Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to include reduction of setup times and improvements in quality and throughput utilizing Lean Manufacturing techniques. Must perform precision work to exacting tolerances. Read and understand process operation sheets, tooling sheets, tech plans and associated documents. Work from blue prints and work instructions to produce parts. Have the ability to correctly gauge parts and record dimensions. Change and reset tooling. Successfully complete applicable special processes and operator certification requirements. Use measuring equipment, such as micrometers, caliper and gauges.
