This position will interact with plant personnel to achieve the highest levels of safety, production, efficiency, and housekeeping while meeting goals set forth in the business and profit plans.This position is located in Black Rock, ArkansasRequirementsResponsible for training and development of team, scheduling, performance management, and effective leadership of hourly workforceSuccessfully implement the Company\'s safety and environmental processesSuccessfully lead and manage to established production, safety, and environmental objectives and metrics.Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsProficient on PC to include MS Office suite; Aggflow or other similar a plusExperience with pit design/exploration, drilling, blasting, inventory control, inventory measures and customer service preferredAbility to work flexible schedule as required; including nights and weekendsBilingual Spanish a plusOther duties as assignedPreferred Education and ExperienceBachelor\'s Degree in Engineering (Mining, Civil), Business, or equivalent experience required2+ years\' experience in aggregate operations with understanding of mineral processing equipment such as crushers, screens, conveyors, and associated mobile equipmentMinimum 1 year supervisory experience in a mining environmentPhysical RequirementsLift up to 50 poundsAbility to climb up to 100\' on ladders and catwalks and perform workAbility to work at heights up to 350\' above ground levelVisual acuity, speech & hearing, hand & eye coordinationManual dexterity to operate equipment and use basic hand toolsMust be able to use jackhammer, shovel, broom and wheel barrow for up to 8 hours per day for various plant cleanup tasksWalking, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, pu hing, pulling, reaching, twisting, balancing, repetitive motion, driving, and squatting to perform the essential functions of this production labor positionMust use proper Personal Protective Equipment as requiredWorking ConditionsWorks in all weather conditions including heat, cold, ice, rain and in high humidity and is required to work in all plant environments.Incumbent will be exposed to vibrating equipment and mechanical and electrical hazards and heights.May have exposure to dust, cement, clay, gypsum, sand, diesel exhaust, lubricants, solvents, various fuels, etc. (See MSDS\'s).
