Required hours/shift for the position, including weekend and evening requirements: 40 hours per weekMon-Fri 9am-5:30pm - Alternating Saturdays 9am-3pm,Will have adjusted weekday hours to accommodate Saturday coverageJOB SUMMARY:The Patient Service Representative (PSR) works with the practice physicians, manager, and support staff to ensure patient satisfaction and efficient operations. PSRs prepare for patient visits, triage practice calls, schedules patient appointments, and performs routine clerical tasks. The PSR acts as a practice ambassador contributing to overall patient experience, safety, and privacy.Duties/Responsibilities:Performs patient check-in and check-out functionsAnswers routine questions in person and over the telephonePerforms basic clerical functions such as copying, scanning, faxing, sorting and distributing mailCreates and maintains health record information, files and organizes as neededCoordinates with insurance providers and handles pre-authorizations and certifications as necessaryLocation of office: Associates In Internal Medicine Florham Park/Stirling 222 Columbia Tpke,Florham Park, NJ 07932 &1072 Valley Road Stirling, NJ 07980Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
