Job Description

The Pilot operates and manages a fixed wing multi engine jet for Patterson-UTI Energy, LLC based in Brookshire, TX (currently a G280). Patterson-UTI Energy, LLC is a Fortune 500 company that has operated a corporate aircraft since 1982. This person will operate the aircraft on average 150-200 hours per year with safety as the number one priority. The position requires the individual to have excellent communication and customer service skills along with a high degree of confidentiality.

The successful candidate will: set high standards of performance for themselves and others; be professional in written, verbal and personal actions in any situation; be self- aware and adjust accordingly to different environments and audiences.

This role performs under the direct supervision of Management.

Detailed Description:
Oversee all flight operations
Provide leadership and guidance to all pilots
Manage other pilot and part-time mechanic
Maintain compliance with all FAA regulations and company policies
Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve flight operations
Make passengers feel safe and comfortable. Excellent customer service skills are a must!
Effective communication with passengers, other pilots, and maintenance facilities
Efficient scheduling of pilot training & MX
Knowledge of FAR Part 91 Regulations
Flight planning of trip when acting as Pilot in Command
Maintain a clean, stocked, organized, and professional environment that includes hanger and office space
Responsible for development, implementation, and management of LOA's, MEL's and SMS manual

Job Requirements:
Proficient computer skills in MS Office Suite including Excel, Word, and Outlook as well as other business systems as required
Maintain professional demeanor in all situations with the ability to work effectively with executives, employees at all levels, and third parties
Ability to maintain Company and employee confidentiality at all times and handles sensitive information and protect Company proprietary information in an appropriate manner.
Demonstrate outstanding customer service skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
Extremely detail oriented with the ability to organize, multitask, and prioritize work while under pressure

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum 4000, hours total flight time with at least 500 hours Pilot in Command (PIC), 3000 hours Multi-Engine, 1500 hours Turbine, and 100 hours Instrument
ATP Rating
Valid Passport with no restrictions
Clean Pilot Record
FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
Current First-Class Medical

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Current G280 Type Rating
Previous aviation leadership or management
250 hours in Type
5000 hours total Time
2000 Turbine PIC

Additional Details:
This job requires the ability to work under time-sensitive deadlines and maintain a calm and professional demeanor when adversity is encountered. It also requires the physical ability to pilot an aircraft. The job may require overtime including weekend or holidays. All applicants must be able to commit to a full-time schedule.
