We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Forging Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This position is for the night shift (7pm - 7:20am) with a rotating schedule, offering a unique opportunity to oversee and enhance our forging operations during the off-hours. You will be the key driver of our team, ensuring the successful execution of our projects, maintaining the highest standards of quality, and ensuring the safety and efficiency of our operations. This role is ideally suited for a candidate who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment and has a passion for forging and engineering.
Responsibilities:
As 2nd shift Forging Supervisor, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing the night shift operations of our forging department, ensuring all activities are carried out efficiently and safely.
2. Leading, mentoring, and training a team of skilled workers to maximize productivity and maintain high-quality standards.
3. Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of projects.
4. Implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
5. Identifying potential issues or bottlenecks in the production process and implementing effective solutions.
6. Ensuring adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
7. Conducting regular performance reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members.
8. Managing resources effectively to meet production targets and deadlines.
9. Maintaining accurate records of all activities and processes.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the 2nd shift Forging Supervisor role should have:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant field.
2. At least 3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a forging or manufacturing environment.
3. A degree in engineering, or a related field, is preferred.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
6. Proficient in the use of various forging tools and equipment.
7. Extensive knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
