An esteemed organization in the manufacturing industry is seeking an experienced Plant Controller to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The Plant Controller will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of our manufacturing operations, ensuring the profitability and financial sustainability of the plant. This role is a key player in driving financial performance and improvements, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact on our business.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all plant-level responsibilities for financial activities, including financial reporting, cost accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Utilize ERP systems (preferably Infor M3) to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and data analysis.
  • Manage the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is captured accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes and procedures.
  • Lead cost reduction efforts and product profitability improvement initiatives.
  • Manage inventory accounting and provide insights on inventory levels and turnover.
  • Implement lean accounting principles and practices to streamline operations and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project management and strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. A Masters degree or CPA is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry, preferably in metal manufacturing.
  • Proven experience in cost accounting, financial analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably Infor M3.
  • Strong knowledge of lean accounting principles and practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • High level of integrity and dependability, with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
