Global Product Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Global Product Manager to lead the development and execution of our product portfolio, ensuring the successful implementation of global brand strategies. This role involves overseeing new and existing product development, driving market growth, and enhancing brand positioning. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative products that meet consumer needs and maintain a competitive edge in the market.


Responsibilities:

Brand Planning & Execution:

  • Support the Senior Global Brand Manager in creating and executing a global brand plan; Implement specific projects within agreed timelines and budgets. Collaborate effectively with local marketing and commercial teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of strategies. Adapt products and strategies to different global markets and cultures, ensuring relevance and competitiveness.

Portfolio Management:

  • Manage assortment, packaging, pricing, financials, and strategic positioning of the brand portfolio in alignment with the Senior Global Brand Manager.
  • Be an authority on specific product categories, staying informed on trade and consumer needs through market research and customer interactions. Continuously analyze market trends to stay ahead of industry changes and competitors.
  • Provide support and execute regulatory changes. Ensure products and processes comply with sustainability practices. Execute merchandising & retail experience projects in collaboration with Shopper Marketing.

New Product Development:

  • Lead and drive new/existing product development projects, ensuring alignment with consumer, trade and brand needs. Collaborate with finance to deliver viable business cases and P&Ls.
  • Develop product tools & assets. Collaborate with Shopper Marketing on merchandising for new/existing products; implement for new products in lead market.

Project Management:

  • Coordinate internal departments to meet project timelines and objectives. Manage project planning, timeline, scope, stakeholder communication, and risk. Lead and motivate cross functional project teams.

Design Development:

  • Manage the design process for all product/packaging-related materials, ensuring compliance with brand guidelines.

Financial Management of the Product Portfolio:

  • Support financial management of the brand, ensuring decisions align with the P&L. Monitor brand financial performance and take corrective actions as needed. Manage assigned A&P budget in collaboration with finance partners.

Agency Management:

  • Brief and manage internal and external agencies to deliver plans on time and within budget.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Degree in business/marketing; MBA preferred.
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Proficient in PowerPoint
  • PowerBI experience preferred.
  • Analytical, proactive, and solution oriented.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail, organized, and results-oriented.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
