Job Summary: Enhance the Guest experience by putting on a scary good performance in one of our incredible Fright Fest shows! Auditions will be held on Saturday, July 20 registration begins at 9am.

Audition Requirements:

  • Must be 16 years or older to audition
  • Must bring a headshot
  • Casting is contingent upon availability. Please bring your availability through October 2024 with your headshot.
  • We are holding in-person auditions Saturday, July 20th

How to Audition:

  • Auditioning for a singing role? Come to Six Flags Human Resources on Saturday, July 20th. Please be prepared to:
    • Perform 2 songs of contrasting style
    • Read music with others
  • Auditioning for a dancing role? Come to Six Flags Human Resources on Saturday, July 20th. Please be prepared to:
    • Dance alone and in a group setting

An audition in person in preferred, but if you are not available on July 20th, that is OK. Our creative team will look over your submission after in person auditions are complete, but before casting choices are made. If you are submitting a virtual audition, please make sure it all of the materials and information is submitted by July 20th at 9 AM.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Attend all required rehearsals
  • Maintain a regular prompt attendance record
  • Be on time for call times, warm ups (both physical and vocal), fight call, mic check, and all outings
  • Be responsible with costumes and props.
  • Maintain character and show quality level during every show and outing
  • Responsible to double check for all costume pieces and props upon clocking in
  • Maintain high energy level in all meet & greets and all shows
  • Attend special events inside and outside the Park (promotions, photo shoots, etc.)
  • Meet and greet Guests before and after shows (shake hands, pictures with guests, conversations)
  • Support and promote Guest first philosophy
  • Assist with other tasks and duties as deemed necessary including helping clean your work area and venue
  • Be willing and able to assist in other park areas if needed
  • Must adhere to park grooming code
  • Must maintain integrity of the show

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must be 16 years or older start of rehearsals.
  • Must be willing to learn multiple shows
  • Must be willing to perform up to 5 shows a day
  • Must maintain a positive attitude and working environment
  • Must be able to handle stress and pressure of a high and fast paced theater
  • Must be able to lift up to 60lbs
  • Trustworthy and work well with other team members
  • Must be willing to adapt to show as necessary
  • Must be willing to work flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be willing to use proper microphone care
  • Must possess outgoing and positive personality
  • Must be in good physical condition
  • Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions including excessive heat, rain, and below freezing temperatures
  • Other: Requires auditions (see above)
