No Provides close patient observation to ensure comfort and safety of patients. Notifies registered nurse of changes in patient behavior.
Observes patient in inpatient setting to ensure their comfort and safety.
Communicates closely with the registered nurse to have a better understanding of the patients needs, diagnosis, visual, auditory or language barriers, along with any other special considerations.
Promptly communicates observations, concerns, and needs of the patient to the registered nurse.
Ensures patient call light is in reach of patient at all times.
Maintains a safe work environment; follows organization and department safety policies, including standard precautions.
**Scheduled Hours**
* Casual, as needed, on-call position.
* Hospital is open 247.
