Coordinate, supervise, and direct the operation of the District's pupil transportation system and the repair of all District vehicles; evaluate all transportation department employees; initiate, as well as review, track, and take positive measures to assure maintenance of vehicles and bus driver proficiency and qualifications; and perform related duties as assigned.

**Comments and Other Information**
This position starts on June 1, 2022 to allow some overlap with the retiring Transportation Supervisor. SLCUSD offers generous health and welfare benefits, PERS retirement, 25 vacation days and 15 sick/personal days each year (unused sick days roll over and accumulate without limit). SLCUSD provides a $100,000 life insurance policy for most management employees and also matches up to $1000 to a 457 or 403b retirement account. Initial interviews for the position are tentatively scheduled for April 11, 2022. These interviews are expected to be in person. SPECIAL NOTES: 1) Correctly filling out forms and following other instructions contained in this notice are part of the testing process. 2) Applicants with disabilities must notify the Personnel Office of any special needs so that adequate preparation may be made for their testing. 3) Veterans qualifying for the oral board examination may receive 5 additional points added to their final score if proof of discharge is submitted at time of oral board interview.
