** CDL Trainee/Ready Mix Driver**
****Job Summary****
Trainee with attend school, obtain their permit, and receive on the job training, test for CDL and resume employment with the Company. Driver will be responsible for safely driving a multi-axle truck for transporting freshly mixed concrete from Batch Plant to the job site. Driver must make normal operating adjustments to equipment and material being hauled (i.e. slump on concrete).

****Compensation****
$20.00 - $29.65 DOE
****Responsibilities****
* Daily pre-trip/post-trip inspections
* Clean and wash vehicle to include removal of concrete build up on all exterior part of the mixer
* Responsible for reporting all incidents/injuries to management as soon as they occur
* Attend Safety Meetings as scheduled by Management
* Complete required paperwork completely and accurately
****Requirements/Qualifications****
* Requires Ready Mix Driver to be at work, as scheduled; good attendance and punctuality are a must
* Able to work varying work shifts; varying start and stop times
* Current valid Class A or B License
* Must have a current DOT Medical Certificate
* Safe driving record; will need to provide a 39-month Motor Vehicle Report/DMV H-6 printout
* Climbing, stooping, bending, squatting, frequent lifting of extension chutes (up to 60 pounds), stretching, driving/sitting and shifting gears
* Uses radio to communicate with company personnel
* May be exposed to extremes of hot and/or cold weather conditions
* Overtime work is required, when needed by the company
* Drivers will be subject to random drug and alcohol screens as required by company and DOT regulations
* Seeking candidates with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and strong customer service sills
* Must adhere to all safety regulations including company policies, State and Federal regulations
* Ability to drive automatic and standard vehicle

High school diploma/GED
****Conditions of Employment****
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated on-going drug and alcohol testing.
