Job Details
Assists in the layout and design of assigned publication(s), shows, supplements, HTML promotions, and other special projects. Works with design and editorial staff to create a wide range of media under tight deadlines across a broad spectrum of products, services and clientele.
Position Responsibilities:
Create marketing collateral including sales materials, magazine advertisements, signage, stationary, print brochures, etc.
Create HTML email promotions and online splash pages from draft to broadcast
Research colors, brand information, fonts, and marketing concepts from client promotional initiatives
Create social media graphics for broadcast
Create custom line/vector art
Produce both static and animated supportive assets for websites, such as banner ads
Performs additional duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
Four-year college degree, with additional work experience in a graphic design function.
High proficiency in workflows using Mac operating system
Strong proficiency of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat Pro
Strong working knowledge of HTML, Dreamweaver and Word Press
A good eye for aesthetics and working knowledge of key design concepts, including resolution, color theory, and typography and how they interact across printed material and web design
A firm comprehension of information design and hierarchies of textual content
Aptitude for creating intuitive layout and web-based designs from new concepts and existing brand visuals
High competence in working independently as well as in a design team environment
Must be able to take direction/critique and clearly communicate design revisions throughout production
High organizational skills and ability to work within and improve upon managed workflows
A professional and mature demeanor and excellent typing/phone communication skills
Ability to work on a high volume of diverse projects simultaneously with changing priorities and tight deadlines
