SCOPE OF POSITION:

Under the general supervision of the Property Services Manager and, is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all CNE properties. The Property Services Technician is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all pest control, waste water and any property services deemed necessary by CNE. Property Services Technician's performance is necessary for the casino to reach its full potential in providing a superior entertainment experience for its guests

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following are major duties and are not intended to be all inclusive or restrictive.

* Applies positive communication, interpersonal and leadership skills with guests at all times.

* Ensures compliance with policies and procedures, gaming regulations, and internal controls.

* Ensures that storage of pesticides and equipment is in accordance with regulations and Compliance.

* Performs the mixing and application of pesticides, in liquid, granular, dust, powder, or solid forms in accordance with regulations.

* Evaluate and eliminate pests.

* Conduct inspections of assigned grounds, facilities, drainage, ditches, and water areas for pest infestations.

* Monitor analytical parameters daily to ensure equipment is functioning properly.

* Remove and neutralize chemical, solid materials and organisms to purify water process.

* Operate and maintain wastewater treatment plant equipment and systems.

* Maintain internal wastewater controls and procedures and ensures compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, permitted functions, and operating policies and procedures.

* Inspect all records and wastewater activities.

* Assist with all construction and installation progress to ensure conformance.

* Assists the Property Services Manager with all projects as directed.

* Performs other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

The Property Services Technician regularly communicates and exchanges information with coworkers and guests. The Property Services Technician is required to reach with hands and arms and to sit; climb or balance; lift up to 45lbs; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The Property Services Technician will regularly be required to stand for more than 50% of their shift. Depending on the weather, the Property Services Technician may also be exposed to extreme cold, typically temperatures below 32 degrees for period of more than one hour. The Property Services Technician may be exposed to extreme heat, typically temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than an hour. Occasional exposure to fumes of airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock.

Work is performed throughout all areas of the facility where there may be flashing lights and the noise level vary from quiet to loud depending on the time of day, the specific location, and the amount of business. The Property Services Technician must be able and willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays and in a smoke-filled environment. The workplace is also under constant surveillance both inside and outside the facility.

The Property Services Technician may be exposed to the risks associated in attempting to resolve contentious issues with difficult guests and staff members.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Possess a High School Diploma or equivalency to include Home School Certificate

Possess Waste Water Certifications

Possess Pest Control Certifications

EVS/Maintenance experience preferred
