Aransas Pass, TX**

**Work Schedule:** 12 hour rotating shifts ( Days / Nights)

**Pay Range:** $19.00 - $23.00 an hour

**Job Duties & Responsibilities:**

* Loads and unloads tank trucks, barges and conducts and oversees all tank farm transfers

* Visually inspects the container before transfer to ensure that it is mechanically sound and has no defective equipment

* Connects or disconnects loading arm hose according to procedures for transfer of product

* Inspects for any leaks in the transfer system, weighs container and completes required paperwork

* Maintains tank farms and yard cleanliness which includes the pump house, dock and truck loading rack

* Tank Truck Operator will inspect containers for expired test dates, leaks, and general integrity of the container, will load tank trucks, and monitor connection and disconnection of hoses.

* Dock Operator will facilitate and coordinate the transfer of product from barges to shore tanks and communicate with all parties involved, serving as the Coast Guard approved Person-in-Charge.

* Tank farm Operator will assist in opening and closing valves to direct product flow, gauge tanks as needed, and perform and document monthly checks on all equipment.

* Operators will help maintain grounds

**Job Qualifications:**

* Must possess a valid TWIC card and a valid drivers license

* 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.

* Stable work history with good references from past employers

* Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check

* Speak fluent English

**Physical Requirements:**

You must be able to:

* Speak, write, read, hear, and have good vision

* Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is required

* Work outside in environmental conditions which at times include extreme heat or extreme cold

* Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) without restriction and pass any medical examination associated with the use of PPE

* Lift 60 to 80 pounds to waist and carry up to 300 feet

* Grip/hold/pull 80 pounds

* Walk one to four miles per job

* Climb stairs and ladders

* Step as much as two feet horizontal and vertical

* Extend arms through normal range of motion while standing and squatting

* Be comfortable around water and heights
