Since opening in 1952, State Electric Supply Co. has grown into one of the nation's largest and best-known electrical distributors; with hundreds of employees and 40 locations in 7 states. Our customers are serviced by a local team of experienced and knowledgeable employees in each of our branches, with additional support from company-wide resources and specialists.
We are currently seeking a motivated and creative Graphic Design Intern to join our team in Huntington, WV. As a marketing intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop skills in Digital and Graphic Design. This position is a paid part-time (15-20 hours/weekly) internship, Monday - Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Creating and designing print and digital materials: Flyers, Web Design, Photo Editing, and Video/Audio editing
- Social Media support
- Create and manage web graphics and visual content
- Assisting marketing team with projects
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to change and prioritize tasks
Job Requirements:- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field
- Familiarity with design principles
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
- Understanding of HTML and CSS techniques
- Experience with video editing and motion graphics preferred
- Portfolio
