Job Details
The Mechanic will be responsible for basic Tractor and Trailer and oversight of repairs to include but not limited to:
- Mechanical on tractors, including Services, Diagnostics, DOT Inspections
- Brakes
- Tires
- Doors
- Bodywork
- Troubleshooting mechanical issues on Roll and Swing door trailers
To be considered the candidate must have:
- Minimum of one (1) year hands-on tractor/trailer repair experience
- Minimum of 1 year' experience as a Diesel Mechanic
- Possess own general tools
- CDL Class A, preferred but not required.
- Air Brake Certification
- Ability to lead a team

Requirements

- Able to react quickly to change.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally.
- Working, standing and walking on non-climate-controlled loading dock area for several hours at a time.
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Posses own tools
- Class A preferred but not required
- 1 year Tractor Trailer mechanic experience required
