We are hiring a Electro/Mechanical Maintenance Technician. This role is responsible for performing routine and complex maintenance and troubleshooting on all our production equipment, facilities, systems and equipment.

This role is also responsible to ensure maximum equipment productivity while maintaining a safe work environment.
There will be a strong focus on repair and maintaining CNC press brakes, CNC laser systems, and welding equipment

The Technician will also maintain Air compressors, forklifts, motor controls, Hydraulics and pneumatics.

Tasks

  • Make repairs and modifications in accordance with national and local building, electrical and safety codes to assure regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in team decision making and team problem solving.
  • Performs trouble-shooting and diagnostic tests on all types of production equipment Investigates and executes economic repair options on production equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly workplace.
  • Train and advise machine operators.
  • Direct contracted projects and sub-contractors when required.
  • Maintain machine and equipment records as required by maintenance manager.
  • Executes preventative maintenance program.
  • Maintains inventory of maintenance spare parts.
  • Assists in the installation of new equipment, and relocation of existing equipment Performs maintenance on buildings, grounds and facility infrastructure.
  • Coordinates with outside resources for delivery of repair goods and services.
  • Maintains the highest quality of workmanship
  • Requires minimal supervision.
  • Accepts/performs other responsibilities/duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
  • Complete tasks and operate equipment in a safe manner.
  • Work at an acceptable and communicated level of productivity.


Required qualifications
  • Must have a passion for learning and continuous improvement.
  • Must be able to work hot and cold environments and have ability to work off ladders and lifts.
  • Must have 5 years or more of industrial maintenance experience.
  • Must have a current valid NC drivers' license.
  • Must be able to order and track spare part inventories.
  • Ability to take on special projects and assist management team when needed.
  • Perform routine safety inspections on plant equipment and facility systems.


Preferred qualifications
  • Experience preferable in manufacturing or military environment.
  • Previous welding skills a plus but not needed.
