Production Operator


Job Details

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Production Operator to join their team. As a Production Operator, you will be part of the Production Department supporting various operational teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving abilities, excellent organizational skills, and effective communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Bend, OR
Shift: Mon - Wed, 4:30 pm - 5:00 am - workers will receive OT for hours after 10 hours (so 2 hours OT per day or 6 per week)
Pay: $20 (2nd Shift pays a 10% shift differential)

What s the Job?

1. Run efficient production lines, ensure products meet quality specifications, and make immediate adjustments to lines when needed.
2. Set-up, start, run, shutdown, clean, and troubleshoot extruders and other production equipment.
3. Build boxes, maintain printers, track tools and equipment, and ensure all needed supplies are available.
4. Complete all necessary paperwork, read and understand product specifications, grade products, and document all changes to the lines as they occur.
5. Keep lines and production floor clean, free of debris, and stocked for the incoming shift.

What s Needed?

1. Ability to consistently and effectively communicate with all team members and ask for help when needed.
2. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make immediate adjustments to production lines.
3. Organizational skills to maintain printers, track tools and equipment, and ensure supplies are available.
4. Proficiency in completing necessary paperwork and understanding product specifications.
5. Willingness to participate in and promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
