Job Summary/Basic Function
Provide administrative support to the Director of the School of Education, the Coordinator of Education Preparation Programs, Field Placement Coordinator, Certification Analyst and School of Education faculty. Areas of responsibility include overseeing the School and budgets associated with certification of teacher candidates, purchasing of supplies and equipment, updating of Education major's files and database records, and serving as a source of information regarding national (CAEP,) State, Institutional, Departmental, and Education Preparation Program Council (EPPC) policies and procedures to provide authoritative information to visitors, students, parents, and faculty. Maintain and update the School of Education website when necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
• Knowledge and skills in the operation of computers and other standard office equipment
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and a variety of software programs including database management and scheduling software.
• Effective oral and written skills.
• Experience working in organizational structures like higher education.

Job Duties
Description of Job Duties
1. Daily administrative duties such as answering phones, making copies, entering work orders, greeting community members, inventory office supplies and replenish when needed, maintain technology inventory, assisting education faculty when need.
2. Daily budgetary and payroll duties such as reconciling budgets, creating purchase acquisitions and reconciliations, adjunct and faculty contractual pay requests in People Admin, and other budgetary duties as assigned.
3. Assisting the Director of the School of Education with tasks such as meeting agendas and minutes, overseeing cooperating teachers and field supervisor payment and reimbursement processes, room reservations when scheduling and faculty workload records. Other duties assisting the Director as assigned.
