Job Description:
As a Warehouse Worker at PocketLedge in New Jersey, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient operations within our warehouse facility. Your responsibilities will include receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse. You will work as part of a team to maintain a clean and organized workspace, uphold safety standards, and contribute to the overall success of our logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Receive incoming shipments, unload trucks, and verify contents against purchase orders.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to packing lists and shipping instructions.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage or defects before packing for shipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and prepare reports as needed.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks in a warehouse setting.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.
