About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of People to lead and support its mission of transforming technical education and creating opportunities for a more diverse generation of tech leaders. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the People function, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This pivotal role involves overseeing and directing core People functions, collaborating on organizational design, and implementing programs to enhance productivity and employee well-being. The Head of People will also be instrumental in developing and executing People initiatives that align with business goals and growth targets, with a focus on building a high-performance, people-first culture.Applicants for the Head of People position at the company should have experience in a high-growth, fast-paced, and ideally engineering-centric environment. The role requires a leader with broad expertise in HR, including organizational design, employee experience, talent and performance management, and diversity and inclusion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing and supporting organization-wide talent programs and be adept at making strategic decisions to support the organization's goals. Strong interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills are essential, as is the ability to provide strategic counsel and business partnership at the senior leadership level. The Head of People will be expected to lead a team, act as a strategic partner to the leadership, and foster a culture that values ambition, ownership, experimentation, and collaboration.
